People. Culture. Country – Experience the living Aboriginal culture of the Mid North Coast, this Australia Day.
The Saltwater Freshwater Festival welcomes everyone to be part of something extraordinary. Feel uplifted in a place of belonging and inclusivity. Honour, respect, celebrate and share in the spirit of country, where our rivers meet the ocean. Home to the nations of the Gumbaynggirr, Biripi, Dunghutti and Worimi people.
Enjoy music from some of Australia’s best Aboriginal artists, as well as dance, story, crafts, language, art, ceremony, workshops, yarn space, children’s activities, youth area and food from the heart of the Saltwater Freshwater communities.
The first Festival was a massive success in Coffs Harbour in 2010, and after four years of touring the region, is now back in Coffs to position itself as one of the East Coast’s premier Aboriginal cultural events.
Set in the tranquil Coffs Harbour Botanic Gardens – Monday 26 January 2015, between 9am & 5pm.
If you are travelling to the area for this event, book your accommodation online or contact the Coffs Coast Visitor Information Centre on 1300 369 070.
