Compounding Chemist

A compounding chemist uses various time honoured techniques in making formulations to deliver personalised medications for the treatment of many different disorders.

Some of these disorders include adrenal fatigue, hypothyroidism, Chronic fatigue syndrome, female hormone imbalances such as PMT , infertility and as a natural or bio identical hormone replacement therapy in menopause.

Doctors who practise integrative medicine will often call on the services of a compounding chemist to make up the medications that drug companies don’t provide.

Pyrrole disorder is a good example of this where the body is stripped of much of its zinc and vitamin B6 which prevents certain enzymes from making some of the bodies neurotransmitters like serotonin and results in a raft of symptoms that can be alleviated by the judicious use of high dose supplements.

Amino acids form the building blocks of many of the bodies metabolic processes and combining these with certain vitamins and minerals may provide welcome relief in certain situations.
